Competing on a Budget - Racing on the Limit
Preserving Two-Stroke Heritage: The club is dedicated to showcasing and keeping "screaming" Yamaha’s legendary two-stroke parallel twins from the 1980s on track where they belong, with you piloting them!
Accessible Racing: By focusing on bikes that are relatively affordable to buy and maintain, the club provides a gateway for riders to experience top-level UK circuits
The "YPM Family" Spirit: Beyond the track, the mission is to foster a unique paddock atmosphere defined by camaraderie. The club prides itself on a culture where no rider "wants for help or parts," ensuring that veterans and novices alike feel part of a supportive community.
The Best Tracks
From the blind, plunging drop of Brands Hatch’s Paddock Hill Bend to the airborne heroics at Cadwell Park’s infamous Mountain, these tracks are the heart of British racing. You’ll tackle Oulton Park’s technical lakeside rollercoaster, unleash raw speed through Donington’s legendary Craner Curves, and face the heavy-braking duels of Snetterton’s high-speed straights. It’s a relentless tour of these and more of the UK’s most iconic tarmac, designed to test every ounce of your skill.

Club Bike Hire
To bridge the gap between dreaming and doing, we offer our "Club Bike Hire" program, featuring a meticulously prepared, race-ready TZR250. This isn't just a standard track day experience; it is a gateway into the heart of the YPM family, designed to give you a genuine taste of competitive racing with the full backing of a dedicated team.
Included in the fee is the test day, and two days full racing and the grin, you get to take that home with you too!

Championships
YPM National: The premier BMCRC-supported tradition, open to all riders from National to Junior Clubman status.
Clubman: A YPMRC mainstay now officially recognised by BMCRC with end-of-season trophies.
Junior Clubman: Replacing the "Rookie" category, this class is dedicated to new riders or those with minimal race experience.
Dunlop Cup: A new internal series sponsored by Len Whalin for riders using Dunlop Sportsmart treaded tires.
Team Cup: A fun-focused internal championship supported by G-Force Motorcycles, where pairs of riders aggregate points for year-end YPMRC awards.
